Our goal with this breeding is to provide you with puppies that are mentally and physically sound having the traditional characteristics of a Labarador Retriever: good looks, intelligence, a willingness to please, trainability, a strong retrieving instinct, and a desire to be with and around their masters. These pups should make wonderful companions and, if you are so inclined, great hunting dogs that also have the talent to be competitive in AKC Hunt Tests, Field Trials, and other competitions.

Our Breeding Program

With our breedings, we take every effort to combine the attributes of a good looking, intelligent, loving, calm companion, with talented retrieving skills and excellent trainability.

All of the sires and dams in our breeding program are certified for the following:

  • Hips: OFA Certified hips Good or Excellent
  • Eyes:  certified Clear of hereditary disease (CERF) by a Veterinary Ophthalmologist
  • Disease: DNA has also been tested to identify hereditary degenerative cells that are known to cause dysfunction in Labrador Retrievers. We use independent Laboratories to test each of the parents for Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM) and Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) diseases.

GUARANTEE: Our puppies are unconditionally guaranteed for life against CNM and EIC diseases. For further guarantees, see individual breedings.

SOCIALIZATION: Because we have one to two litters per year our puppies get an enormous amount of attention and affection. We begin our socialization right at their birth and continue through the day they leave for their new homes. We know that the first couple of days leaving the security of the litter and their mother to go home with you is traumatic.

We do several things to mitigate this trauma and prevent future undesirable behaviors that helps your puppy adjust in a normal fashion to their future lives. These activities begin at birth with puppy stimulation and human contact as soon as they have taken their first breath. They are introduced to a variety of elements and environments which change daily. They are subjected to daily stimulation and are introduced to play toys, loud noise, dog crates, feathers, game birds, retrieving games and water (weather permitting).

All strategies are developed and designed after 30+ years of experience to prepare your pup for your home and their future life, whether as a companion, hunting dog or competitor.

Your puppy will also come to you with:
  • dew claws removed
  • wormed
  • vaccinated
  • microchipped
  • eyes checked clear by a Veterinary Ophthalmologist
  • first puppy physical completed
